It sits between a bomber and a blazer. Sharper than a bomber because there is no ribbing bunching at the waist, easier than a blazer because there is nothing formal about a zip. That is the whole reason the shape has survived since the 1930s without being redesigned.

Lambskin or Cowhide

This collection runs in both. A black lambskin Harrington jacket is the softer of the two, lighter on the shoulder, and drapes closer to the body from the first wear. Cowhide is firmer and heavier, holds a more structured line, and takes longer to break in but takes more punishment once it has. Neither is better; they are different jackets.

If you want something that feels broken-in quickly and layers under a coat, choose lambskin. If you want a jacket that stands on its own and keeps its shape through years of daily wear, choose cowhide. Both are calibrated so the collar sits flat and does not roll, which is the detail most Harringtons get wrong.

Finishes in Black

Black is not one colour in leather. The collection includes a clean classic black, a matte black with almost no reflection for a flatter and more modern look, and vintage-finished blacks where the surface carries some depth and movement. Drum-dyeing carries the colour deep into the fibre in all of them, so the jacket holds its black and picks up a natural sheen at the wear points instead of greying at the seams and elbows. No faux. No PU. No compromises.

Inside, each jacket is lined in soft polyester and fitted with authentic YKK hardware, with double-stitched seams at 8 to 10 stitches per inch. How to Wear It

A black Harrington works over a plain t-shirt and straight denim, over an oxford shirt with chinos, or over a fine-gauge knit when you want something a step up from casual without putting on a blazer.
