This men’s rub-off brown leather café racer jacket is 100% real lambskin with a rub-off finish — a hand-worked surface where the brown sits deeper in the creases and lifts on the high points, so it already looks lived-in on day one. That isn’t wear to hide; it’s character to build on, and it only deepens the more you wear it. Slim and clean-lined, it holds weekday polish and weekend ease in a single piece. Handcrafted in Decrum’s own workshop and sold direct — maker-to-wardrobe, without the retail markup a café racer jacket like this usually carries. We’ve built leather this way since 2015: real hide, honest construction, no faux and no shortcuts. You pay for the lambskin and the hands that shaped it, not the names in between.
The Material
100% genuine lambskin underneath, with a rub-off finish worked into the surface — real leather, not a printed effect. Lambskin is soft and light from the first wear, then breaks in rather than breaking down, and the two-tone finish makes that ageing visible: the high points brighten, the folds darken, and no two jackets settle quite alike. The more you wear it, the more the finish becomes a record of it.
The Cut
A slim café racer silhouette that sits close and stops clean at the waist. A snap-button stand collar and zippered cuffs let you close it down against the wind or open it up, while four zip pockets and two inside pockets keep everything secure and out of sight. Fully lined in soft polyester, it layers over a tee or a knit without any drag.
How It’s Worn
Over a plain tee and dark denim so the finish does the talking; over a fine knit when you want it a touch sharper. Brown runs warmer and easier than black — it softens a look and flatters nearly everything, and the rub-off depth means it never reads flat.
