Really pleased with this one. The finish looks a lot richer in person than it does on screen and it doesnt feel inexpensive at all. Been wearing it most evenings since it arrived.
Holiday packing is what pushed me into buying something light and this rolled into a case without any drama. It came out looking fine after a brush. The light brown has a warm depth to it and the ribbing at the collar and cuffs is neat. It was warm enough for cool evenings and easy to carry in the day. I spent well under what I had budgeted for it.
Tan is not a colour I usually go for and this has won me over completely. It is warmer and deeper than it looks online and the surface has a lovely soft nap. I spent well under what I had budgeted and it has been worn nearly every day.
Everyday jacket was the brief and this has been it since the day it arrived. It goes over a shirt for work and a jumper at the weekend and looks intentional either way. The ribbing is neat and the light brown has a warm depth to it. There is nothing to break in and nothing to look after. I had budgeted nearly double what it came to.
Usually I spend far too long deliberating over anything I buy and then regret it anyway, so I went with instinct this time. It has worked out better than most of my careful decisions. The light brown has a warm depth to it that changes pleasantly between daylight and lamplight. The ribbed collar, cuffs and hem are neatly finished and have kept their shape through constant wear. The surface is soft with a short even nap and a matte finish that does not shine. It is far lighter than it looks and there was no wearing-in period at all. Care has been nothing beyond a brush across the shoulders now and then. I have worn it four or five times a week since it arrived and it looks new. My brother assumed it was the designer one he has been saving for, which is more than double. It has replaced a jacket I had worn out of habit for years and I have not missed it once.
Hem sits neatly and does not ride up, which is more than I can say for the last bomber I owned. The colour is a warm light brown and the surface is soft and matte. For half of what I had allowed I am very content.
Fed up of jackets that look tired after a month, I took a chance on this one. Two months in the ribbing still holds and the surface has not gone shiny anywhere. It cost me half of what I had set aside.
Original plan was to buy something in black and I went for the light brown at the last minute, which turned out to be the right call. The colour is deeper than the photos, so if you are expecting a pale sandy tone it is warmer than that. It suits me better this way. The surface is soft with a fine matte nap and the ribbing holds its shape. I paid well under half of what the department store wanted.
Grocery runs, the school gate and the odd trip into town are what this gets used for and it has been ideal. It is light enough that I forget I have it on and warm enough for a grey morning. The ribbed collar and cuffs keep the wind out at the edges. The light brown has a warm depth and the surface stays matte. Compared with the department store version at more than double I have lost nothing.
Bomber jackets have been in and out of my wardrobe for twenty years and most of them have ended up in a charity bag within a season. This one is going nowhere. The light brown has a warm depth in daylight and a softer, greyer tone under cloud. The surface is soft with a short even nap and a matte finish that does not shine at the elbows. The ribbed collar, cuffs and hem sit snugly without digging in. It is a lot lighter than it looks, which makes it easy to wear all day. There was no breaking-in period and there is nothing to condition or treat. I have worn it to work, to the pub and out for meals and it has been right every time. A colleague guessed I had spent nearly three times what I did. It has replaced two jackets and neither has been missed for a moment.
Light in every sense, both in colour and on the shoulders, which is why this has become the jacket I reach for by default. I stopped buying animal materials several years ago and had come to expect outerwear that looked obviously synthetic. This does not read that way at all. The nap is short and fine with a matte finish and the colour has a warm depth in daylight. The ribbed collar, cuffs and hem are neatly done and hold their shape after a long day. It drapes properly instead of standing away from the body, which is where most of these fall down. There is no conditioning, no treating and no breaking-in to endure. I have worn it constantly for two months and it looks the same as when it arrived. A friend who is fussy about clothes asked where it was from and was surprised by the answer. I had expected to pay well over double for something this considered, and I would order it again without hesitating.
Uni runs, the supermarket and a couple of evenings out have all been covered by this. It is light enough that I forget about it and warm enough that I have stopped carrying a coat. The light brown is warmer than the photos and the surface has a soft matte nap. There has been nothing to look after at all. I had set aside twice what it came to.
