My favourite jacket at the moment, no contest. Quality is much better than the price suggests. The material is so soft I keep touching my own sleeve. Very light, brilliant for cooler days but I wouldn't call it a deep winter jacket.
Having spent a long time avoiding animal materials I have got used to disappointing outerwear. This is a proper exception. The nap is fine and matte, the shape is sharp and it hangs the way it should rather than standing off. I have worn it to gigs and to work and it has looked right at both. What I paid was a long way under what I had feared.
Moving cities meant leaving behind the shops I knew, so I ended up ordering online for the first time in years. This has made me a convert. The matte black has real depth and the nap is even across the shoulders. It is light and warm at the same time, which I had not managed to find before. Compared with the designer one I had been saving towards this was less than half.
First one I bought from here was the brown trucker and it has held up so well that this was an easy follow-up. The black on this style is deep and even with a soft short nap and no shine to it at all. It is a great deal lighter than the old jacket it has replaced, which had been slowly ruining my shoulders. The asymmetric zip runs smoothly and the collar sits neatly when it is fastened. Nothing needed breaking in, I wore it out the evening it arrived. There is no care routine beyond an occasional brush to lift the pile. Two friends have asked where it came from and one has ordered the same. What I paid was around a third of the designer jacket I had been saving for. It has completely taken that jacket off my list. There will be a third from here before the year is out.
Older now and less interested in anything that needs looking after, which is how I ended up here. There is no care routine at all beyond a brush now and again.
